Puff! Puff! Puff!

Puff! Puff! Puff!

Dandelion seeds detach from the parent
Blown by the wind to settle where they can.
Like the spark of the Divine dispersing
And dividing to populate these lands
To make a new life, ignorant of Source
And the filaments of connection
Still trailing in their wake.
Puff! And they’re set free
On the adventure that is life
Puff! Growing strong now
Being the best that they can be
Puff! A final surrender of the self
So that offspring may thrive.

The ability of nature to multiply, regenerate and thrive is amazing, both in the animal and plant kingdoms.    Think of the dandelion this morning and how effortlessly it carries out its destiny.  Why not choose to do likewise?
